Getting faculty and employees to participate in video is simple matter compared to students. Getting students to be involved in video projects is like herding cats on an ice rink. It takes meticulous planning, relatable storyboarding, a total lack of condescension, a working knowledge of college-speak, precision lighting, careful organization, genuine understanding, sincere empathy, infinite patience, exacting dialogue…and pizza. Lots and lots of pizza.
