A Dying Art
There’s nothing like print. The thrill of getting a letter, invitation, announcement or holiday card in the mail. Opening the envelope, seeing what’s in that present directed just to you. The smell of a freshly printed piece…the aesthetic feel of a quality piece of paper…the magic of folds, die cuts, embossing and varnish…the feeling that this is something special. A dying art, indeed. Digital is king (or queen) and print has been relegated to the back seat, the sidekick Robin to the hero Batman, the third cousin that you sometimes see around the holidays.
