IT’S ALL ABOUT SHARING
The Hudson Valley Visual Art Collections Consortium HVVACC was developed to facilitate collaboration among five organizations and, in particular, to make their collections available for online viewing and research. Working directly with the Director of the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art and the museum’s marketing council, I am currently working on a redesign of the Consortium’s logo and website. Their wish is to have a clean background on the site, allowing the artwork to stand out and be adequately featured without any clutter. This reasoning filters down to secondary pages as well. The main logo will feature the circle filled with pms639. On the website, the logo will feature a different image in the circle every time the viewer accesses the website or refreshes the site. The two outlines of squares represent the merging of the various collections. The solid square in the middle represents the “new” that evolves out of the sharing of collections.
